2 Fruit cakes, 1 to take with us on holidays and the other for the family.  An old fashioned ginger bread and 3 doz milo balls for the GKs.  2 Vegetable mornays in the freezer, also to be taken with us.

I have made some of the bliss balls from the sister mixin book.  Apricot, cookie dough and chocolate almond and cashew.
They all taste yummy and are reasonably healthy.
Thought they might be good road trip treats.

Raspberry Coconut Slice using strawberry jam in place of the raspberry.  A piece of silverside cooked in ginger beer.

Silverside cooked in ginger  beer sounds interesting Mab. Do you add anything else to the pot?

To the saucepan with the silverside in it, add 1 onion cut into quarters and 1 apple cut into quarters then pour over enough ginger beer to cover the meat.  Cook as per normal.

I don't bother with the next step but a glaze of brown sugar and mustard can be spread over the meat once it is cooked and then put under the grill for a few minutes.

I've heard that it is very nice.
As well as my cake today I made some Strawberry and Cherry Jam. It's lovely.

I wanted 3 long rolls for dinner tomorrow night when we get home from Bunbury. So I made the 3 rolls and put the rest into the pipe tin. I do love pipe loaves.
