Well done CC. Have you made Lime Marmalade?  I tried but it wasn't very nice.  I like Roses brand. I think it is English.

Yesterday DD gave me a 3 litre bottle of milk which had to be used within a few days so this morning I've used almost all of it.

I'm making a banana cake from the recipe community today, when the oven decides to get to the right temperature. First it was too cold, then it was too hot. I use a thermometer inside to check as it has no idea what's going on from the dial!

Sarah, have you tried any of the recipes from the Forum?  They are much better than those on the Community as there is usually lots of feed back here.  Many of the Community recipes have not been well tested.

Sarah there are a couple of killer banana cake recipes around. This is one of them, here on the forum.

You could always soak the raisins (or sultanas) in orange juice. Give it a try, it is truly out of this world.

So far I haven't tried that many. Generally I'm attracted by a nice picture first (so shallow of me!), then I read the ingredients and reviews to see if it sounds interesting. I often clip stuff to Evernote so I can find it again, or I can't remember where the recipe comes from to use it later.
