The cake looks lovely Chookie, can't wait for it to be cut to hear the taste results.

Nice that you can look after Mum Michele, very handy when they live so close.

Great looking cake Chookie.

Mum is fairly self sufficient. DH said "wouldn't really know she was here" and that is because he has been away for the past week and I wouldn't know he was here!!!  :-))

LOL Mich.

I made a different type of bread today. It uses milk as the liquid. I haven't cut it yet but will when it cools and see what it is like.

There is nothing wrong with this bread, but I prefer the Classic bread with some SD starter in it.

That's a lovely looking cake chookie.

I have been making chocolate faces for the GKs using a block of chocolate and M & M's.  Will post a photo when they are set.

I've made 7 of these today instead of buying those large chocolate freckles.

Busy day cooking a chocolate cake you bake in a baking dish an old family favourite. Skinnymixers  pulled pork, and slow cooked Greek lamb and her chipotle mayo then chookies 2 min salad. It's DS 31st birthday and they get to pick what they would like for dinner all he wanted was meat.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Typical male Jeninwa.
Margaret I love your large biscuits/chocolates.
I've made some fruit mince today, a mango fruit cake, and I've just finished a Lime Mousse Pie from KIS.

I usually make a cake with heaps of nuts and glazed fruits. Very sweet but yummy. I don't make a huge one, just big enough for me and DH to share. My kids don't eat a lot of cake.
I never make traditional pudding. Growing up, Mum would always do a pudding with the silver coins in it, and I would just about choke on that pudding just to get the money. Picking through it and leaving it uneaten was not an option. Never eaten pudding as an adult. Too heavy for me. I do like a good Icecream pudding.

Mab,  great creative idea.
Will cut Nigellas Xmas Cake today, if ok will post recipe as it is Gluten and dairy free.
Will mix full recipe of No Fuss bread and cook 1/2 as rolls in AF and the other 1/2 in mini slow cooker , I will roll this in seeds before I place it in SC.
