Yum Kimmyh, your slice looks delicious.  I like the idea of using the nectarines in place of jam.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Kimmy what a delicious looking slice. Clever thinking there. Astarra your milo yoghurt looks so cute and ready to go.
Are the fires near you out?  I've found it hard to get specific information over here.
It's another hot one here today. Or I should say uncomfortable as it's high humidity. Makes me feel lethargic. I had more energy when we lived in Broome. I think that may be because I was 40 years younger.  ;D ;D

I've just made the dip from this site. I licked the spatula and it is very nice.

Just scroll down for the recipe.
I e also made some Berry cordial. It's a bit warm to do much else.

We love you milo yoghurt Astarra.  I love the idea of cold soup for summer chookie. Thanks for sharing the dip cookie. I accidentally deleted the link that came in the email. I love that I have all the ingredients too.

I have made the best pink grapefruit marmalade ever! According to me.
I followed Nigel Slaters recipe. He is a great food writer for the Guardian.
I used a peeler to remove the zest of the Pink Grapefruit and finely cut it by hand.
I then put it un the thermomix basket and did varoma speed 4 for 20 minutes and let the zest drain in the basket. I removed the pith from the fruit and cut into sixths and then chopped in the thermomix speed 7 for 20 seconds. I put it all into a saucepan and followed the cooking instruction in Nigel's recipe.
The results are beautiful.
It just shows how good the thermomix is at making a traditional recipe simpler and easier. It is the best of both worlds!
I have linked the original recipe. I love how he writes about food.

Boo, that sounds beautiful. I also love his writing.
Today I made My Favourite Quiche , but left out the flour. Served it as baked scrambled eggs !
Salad from garden, Raspeberry fluff, and a 4/4 roast lamb.  Had family to eat it all.
They arrived early and the kids made rolls for lunch.

Tenina's Nutty seedy crackers & 2 large Coffee Frappes from Quick Fix in the Thermo.

Cooked roast lamb for dinner tonight with all the trimmings and had two friends come to dinner who are on their own and don't cook a roast.
