I"ve made vegetable quiche for dinner tonight.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I made Skinnymixer's Carbonara tonight. No one knows it's loaded with cauliflower, which they all hate! But I feel as though it needed more garlic or something. Still, I'll make it again. Then my daughter asked for dessert, so I made up a peach and mango sorbet (I took ages peeling the peaches, but apart from that it was quick). One daughter loved it, as did I, my husband liked it, and the other daughter puddled around until it turned to liquid.

I made a lovely smoothie. The recipe is on Jamberie's Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/1097437023601587/photos/a.1097442583601031.1073741827.1097437023601587/1132981536713802/?type=3&comment_id=1133011093377513&reply_comment_id=1133026286709327&ref=notif&notif_t=photo_reply
I also made an apple pie. I bought the apples ages ago and had some puff pastry I had made in the freezer. DH commented that the pastry was almost as good as my Mum's. Which is a lovely comment as she made beautiful puff pastry.

DH,s Birthday today, so I made his favourite of late, Skinnymixers Choc Brownies. We are going out for an Indian meal tonight and we have a picnic with close friends on Sat night, so I will make a Birthday cake for that.
Lovely cooking everybody!

Astarra, I envy you with all those little mouths to feed.
Not much cooking here. Ral had leftover sausages and gravy with cauliflower and kohlrabi mash.  Hasn't realised that it isn't mashed potato. I had baked beans and black pudding on toast.
Have just seen a nice recipe for Spanish chicken and rice. This could be cooked in Varoma so will give it a go.

DH was chuffed with all your Birthday wishes, thanks girls.
Busy packing all day, only managed a Zucchini slice for a picnic tomorrow evening and Hamburgers for dinner tonight.
