Your SD loaf looks good even with a burnt bum Chookie

Margaret I love Echuca. Just to sit and listen to the paddle steamers going down the river, not to mention the history.
I must make a loaf of bread today. It shouldn't take too long to rise as it is warmer.

I made some of Chookie's lovely SD crumpets yesterday. I put sultanas and walnuts in them. I also made this Sandwich bread. It is quick and only has one rise. Great for those days when you realise you need bread late in the day. I added some spelt flour and seeds to it.

Well done Cookie. Have you tried the Alaska Hot Cakes? Uses SD but has an egg added.

Cookie, I make the Alaskan Hot Cakes small. They look a bit like a pikelet.

13 kilos is a lot Robyn, I hope it does for the week.
I've made a normal loaf to take away, also some long thin rolls to have with sausages tonight and to take away for lunches for a couple of days. The SC has been utilised to cook some corned beef for lunch sandwiches.
