My basil plant is prolific at the moment so I used many leaves to make this delicious soup from the 4Blades.
Hearty Vegetable Soup, all that dicing of vegetables by hand was worth it. ;D

Another Amy's Winter Banana Smoothie for my breakfast and for dinner I cooked Sticky Ginger Chicken and Broccolini a recipe from ThermOMG.(The bottom of my TM bowl burnt a little so I had to use a bit of elbow grease to remove it  ;D ) I served it with steamed rice.
I made a loaf of bread too.

I made these apple turnovers today using brown sugar instead of raw and placing them on a rack in the baking tray to ensure nice, crispy bottoms.  http://www.the4blades.com/yummo-thermomix-apple-turnover-recipe/

Yum, Apple turnovers. Denise you have been busy and Margaret your Malt Loaf has inspired me.
We were completely out of bread today and no one wanted poly styrene bought bread so that is all I have done today.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks girls, I ate 3 last night before popping the rest in the freezer. I actually enjoyed them more when cold than hot with cream.

Robyn I don't even want to think of Christmas but it's great that you're organised with your cakes.

Enjoy your day at Cherokee Chookie.
