4 dozen little quiches for the Probus birthday and a biggie for myself. I had to take 1 rack away as it wouldn't let me post the whole lot.

They look delicious Judy and well done on making the mini ones as I know they are tricky to make.

Thanks Chookie, that is a good idea. I love my small SC.
Judy you are certainly busy again. Do any of the other ladies bake?

Yes they are fiddly Denise and my back is letting me know I spent too long in the kitchen tonight. No complaints when doing some weeding to fill the green bin this morning though.
Very few of the older ladies bake cookie, some will make no-cook slices for dessert. I'm doing enough for 2 other ladies who are not mobile enough these days. Generally the spread is really good though, our club has a great reputation for putting on a nice party. A few clubs have them catered for but we're only a small club and find what we do is our best option. Once again I will order the cake through Costco.

Thank you cookie. My GD once said to me 'You like old people don't you Grandma. Is that because you're old'. Cheeky sausage! I told her that older people are interested in what you have to say and appreciate everything that's done for them.

I love it. Children are so truthful, and it believe it's quite beautiful.
I made a non thermomix fruit loaf over night, have just knocked it down and set it to rise in the tin.

This time I used sour dried cherries again as they give it a lovely taste, macadamias and about 100g milk Choc chips.

Judy, it is very funny what the GC say. My GD told me that I liked to feed the whole world. I think her whole world was the family.
It is nice that the Probus ladies like to cater for themselves. Nice point of discussion as to who cooked what.

It's nice that at the moment your GD's whole world is her family Chookie. I love what the kids come out with.
You do tend to hear little comments in the hall at our Probus parties, for example 'try the ..., it's really nice'.
Since I've been there, I've been supplying containers for them to take home all the leftovers and they go home very happy indeed. I'm not one to take leftovers myself but we have no trouble clearing the table at the end of our parties.

You are a treasure, Judy, and I am sure your Probus club members appreciate all you do for them - if they don't, send anyone on this forum around to talk to them and sort them out!
Quiet cooking weekend for me for once because we head off to China in two days. I did, however, make c. 2 1/2 litres of crabappple jelly. In fact, I ran out of jars and had to throw a bit of it out (I hope the beasties in my compost heap like it!). I have no idea what on earth I am going to do with it all - I may well run out of people to give it to!

Thank you for that lovely comment Marina and I hope you and DH have a wonderful time in China.
That's a lot of crabapple jelly, good luck with finding enough people to gift it to.

You have been busy Marina. Have a wonderful time in China.
Judy, there is no reward as nice as over hearing someone recommend your cooking to someone else. That is lovely.

Don't worry Marina. They will be asking for seconds.
Have a great time in China.
Made a loaf of bread. Mixture of Rye, multigrain, wholemeal and 1/2 cup of mashed potato. Lovely.
Also cottage pie.
