Chookie, love seeing what you cook - there's no stopping you, my back would give out way before I got to the end of that list!
Gaye, love your preserves. How long does the cooked mayo last if not opened?

Djinni, they all look very good. I agree, the price of prepared food is ridiculous and not as nice as home cooked.
I have been cooking all day.
Sausage rolls, 36
Ratatouille without onion but with leek
Garlic butter and the sliced bread and now wrapped in foil for tomorrow
Small pork and veal meat balls to add to soup.
Chicken stock
Stewed apple for pork tomorrow
Awesome cheese sauce.
Lemon juice, olive oil, mustard and land cress dressing
Prepared lamb and pork ready to pop into oven tomorrow morning
Grilled fish and steamed veggies for dinner tonight.
That's a lot of food Chookie.Well done. 8)

Thanks Judy. Short answer is I don't really know. I make a half quantity (yields about 500ml ), refrigerate ASAP and use it all within about 2 weeks. The taste starts to go after than I find. Even though it's a cooked mayo, it's not cooked at high temps and it has both eggs and milk. That make it very short term in my books. In "Nourishing Traditions" Sally Fallon has a recipe for uncooked mayo (p137) with whey added that will last for several months but I've not tried it. Let me know if you'd like the recipe.

I'm making some Raspberry cordial at the moment. DD has a tiny bit in her soda water. I've reduced the sugar until it's almost sour.

Thanks Gayle but I never make my own mayo these days - so little food gets eaten here. I was just wondering if the cooked mayo lasted much longer but obviously not if you feel it has to be eaten within 2 weeks.

I made this fruit loaf again today. I love it as I make it the night before and finish it off the next day. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17347.0

Cookie, thanks for the recipe. Looks great.
Yesterday I made an Eggplant dip which I can have on my LP diet. Eaten with Rye Finn biscuits or veggie sticks. I took some to DD's for Father's Day. They all loved it. I cook the eggplant over the gas flame and it takes on a lovely smokey taste.
I cooked roast lamb and roast pork for lunch yesterday, to take to DD. I kept back 3 slices of pork for Rals lunch today. Going to make Toasted Ciabatta sandwiches. I also kept the leg bone with a little meat and will make Ral a cottage pie for tomorrow. TMX mashed potato of course.
I am having a Frittata for lunch and Cauli soup with meat balls for dinner.

I love that fruit bread Cookie. So easy to do too. Thank you :)

Today I'm making 3 batches of lemon butter and some tomato relish, most to be given away as "thank you"s. Dinner is yet undecided...

Roasted some Almonds with pesto, ( no cheese). Mixed the pesto with egg white to help it stick. Tasty and crunchy.
