Thinking I need to make a cake today .Hoping to make Asparagus, Parmesan flan out of the new TMix mag . Love this mag it just covers good cooking . It has an article about The French Kitchen, went to many classes there . Di Holuigue has a cookbook that is like Stephanie Alexandra's , large thick bible .

I haven't looked at mine yet.

I've made Thermomix Baking Blogger's Varoma Cheesecake.Substituted Quark for the creamcheese  and mascarpone. I won't put the meringue on top either. I used blueberries to decorate. Will chill it overnight to eat tomorrow. There was enough filling to fill the Varoma tray and two dariole moulds.Cooked the two moulds in the Varoma.
I've just downloaded that recipe, it looks lovely, did it taste OK with the quark?.  The recipe is now resting in my very high 'to do' pile.

Just had a report from one of the SD class girls. The 2 loaves she made to bake at home turned out great.

That's great - very rewarding to get feedback like that.

Quark makes the cheesecake quite tart Marina. It's a totally different texture to a usual cheesecake. We like it ;D

Thanks, CC.  Unfortunately, I just realised as I was reading your response, that Quark is vegetarian, not vegan.  That's sad, I liked the look of this cheesecake. I might have to look into other substitutes.

CC, that recipe does look nice. Her recipes are very reliable. The Super Quick bread cooked in a cold oven , is one of hers.
I also make a green tomato salad which is surprisingly good. Think I have posted it.
