You’ll be busy with your fruit Denise. Have you seen this recipe which uses 300g redcurrants  -  I thought it might be rght up your alley.

Thank you Judy. It looks a very good recipe to try. You look after us all so well  :-* Your muffins look delicious.

I made eight jars of marmalade. A batch of Shortcrust pastry to make a Quiche Lorraine.

Red currant jelly, yum! CC.
We has lots of large prawns leftover so I bought a $2 packet of curry powder , (awful) and we had them on leftover toasted rolls.
We had a taste test of the plum and mixed berry jam that I made, when we had the visitors on Sunday.  They decided that it was very nice and that a couple of us should have a stall at a Farmers Market.   Don’t think I would enjoy selling , Just like making and giving it away.

It gives you a lot of pleasure.  I love looking at peoples faces when you say they can have it, it really doesn't cost us anything much except pleasure.  I gave the book club ladies a small jar of jam for Christmas. We don't exchange gifts but strawberries were very cheap, a couple have diabetes so I added less sugar and some chia to theirs. ( with the warning to eat it fairly quickly)

I made four jars of Redcurrant Jelly. And like you girls I will enjoy giving away three of those jars.  :)

I made the Oat Bread recipe from Recipe Community https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/breads-rolls-recipes/oat-loaf-easy-healthy-and-can-be-glutenwheatdairy-and-egg-free/th5lr9fj-af63a-380597-cfcd2-iqjrbsrw that Gayle made. It was very easy and putting it into a 110* oven for 45 minutes it rose quite well. I really loved the taste. I forgot to take a photo. 😒😒😒😒

Lots of jam and bread being made.
I'm making some muffins today to try out the silicon tin liners I received from secret santa.

Yes, I just heard that it was 39 there. Take care Marina and others who are cooking!!

I've made a Classic Loaf to take to my brother who has shifted over from Canberra and a Lumberjack cake to eat at home.

I didn’t cook this, but had it for breakfast at a local Restaurant. Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on SD Nori and buck wheat bread and green goddess dressing. I will copy bread when we get home. I have made bread with Nori but this was different as the Nori was chopped fine and throughout the bread. I don’t particually like Buckwheat but there was very little in the bread. Might try roasting the Buckwheat and grinding in the TMX.
