Cookie, I love the casserole dish and the bread looks good too.

I made a quiche yesterday and today I have a pot of vegetable soup on and I have three  trifles to finish.  1 for SIL who loves his trifle, 1 for the rest of the family and a small one for us.
I love trifle as well, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be 'fashionable' or 'trendy' these days and you don't see it around all that often - to use a Trumpism SAD  :(

What lovely bread. No cooking here except for some naan bread to have with our tandoori chicken and rice at dinner time.

The little pumpkin dish is Le Creuset.  Ral bought it for me as a surprise. Love it.  The bread is a simple white loaf into cold oven.

Made apple and cinnamon piklets today , three left ok now there is no lunch box food again . The banana ones made two days ago went nearly as quick . Made them in the pie maker - not a bad idea .

I have that book KAtie, I will have to check them out. I recently bought all her books and the things I have made have been nice.

I'm going to make some shortbread in a moment. We have friends coming over tomorrow or Thursday and the cake tin will be empty by then. I have been checking out the Queen Vanilla Facebook site and they are having challenges every two weeks. This fortnight is a banana upside down caramel cake or similar. I thought I would give it a try.

The Shortbread was from the Baking for the Thermomix book. It was quite a small amount.  Lucky I had made it as one of DH’s good friends from the Wednesday car group dropped round.
It caught a bit on the edges.
