What a very special cake tin Denise. I must get some fruit mince made and also a cake or two.

I have a No Fuss loaf of bread rising at the moment. We were desperate for bread. :D :D :D

Rolls using Cookies Vienna loaf recipe.   I will cut off tops, remove crumbs and fill with cold curry mince and reheat in oven.   Might do some with curried Scallops.

Are the tops of those rolls crisp Chookie, when I make the Vienna loaf it doesn’t have a crispy top.

Judy, when they are reheated they are lovely and crisp.

Instructions

Make 12 small round rolls from Cookies Vienna loaf recipe.
Bake 12 minutes@ 200ff.
When cool , cut off top and remove most of soft crumb, fill with desired mixture,
Curried mince, sautéed mushrooms, creamed corn and bacon, etc.
Reheat in oven or AF.

Judy, the soft rolls are very good filled with salad and cheese or  ham or chicken.  They also make a good Mini Big Mac roll or Fillet of Fish roll.  Each roll is equivalent to a 30 g slice of white bread.

I have been thinking that by the time you remove the soft crumb , it is probably equal to 1/2 a slice of bread.

My SD is battling to rise, so I have helped it along in a warm oven. It rained here this morning!
