Chow mein, vegetable patties and maybe some cookies.

Made a few batches of this recipe from Recipe Community today, they are delicious and a sure winner for the trading table. https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/side-dishes-recipes/honey-cinnamon-roasted-almonds/du8j8xwh-38f03-789045-cfcd2-kb3jlv83

My first attempt at making SD crumpets.  The 2 small ones were made in the pie maker and are very small, obviously my pie make is smaller than other peoples.   The others were made in a fry pan on the stove.  DH has already eaten two and given them the tick of approval.

Mab,  they look great, well done.  I have been trying to buy a small pie maker but to no avail.   What brand is yours?
The Turkey casserole turned out very well.  Made lots.
Made Cauliflower creamy mash today to go with the grilled fish. As I used some of the Cauli water and a little light cream,  it is a lot less in calories than the ones posted on the Community and Teninas posts.  I think Ral thought it was mashed potato.

Chookie, my pie maker is a Sunbeam and is very old.  It only makes two pies at a time.

Your crumpets look delicious Margaret. We love them here and eat them as soon as they are made.

Thanks Mab.  Probably won’t be able to get one.
KAtie, your jam sounds very nice.  People love homemade jam as it has so much more flavour.

Yesterday I made a loaf of Cookie;s Classic Bread, I think it is one of the best loaves I have ever made :)  Sorry no photo as the family have eaten most of it.

Chookie, the K-mart pie maker is smaller than the original Sunbeam which a lof of us have. Those that have it say it’s great for dessert pies.  It may be hard to get though as they seem to sell out pretty quickly once they come into the stores.

I made some Carrot Cakes using Kimmy's recipe from here. They are so nice.

DD was taking most to work so I made them as small ones again.
