That loaf looks delicious Cookie.

Chookie, glad you sorted the churros out. You are very persistent in making it 4 times.

Maddy's, vegetable, pasta and bacon soup, minus the the bacon.
Uni's bread rolls in under an hour. The soup turned out well. The bread rolls sort of okay.

Skinnymixers PB & J slice for DH's smoko and cheese and marmite scrolls, a request from DS. All bar 2 for tasting went to their place.

The rolls look good.  Michele, you are doing very well with your bread making.
The chicken veggie soup grew until it filled the TMX bowl.  Will do for lunch for a few days.
Made individual Spag Pies. Topped them with leftover Sour Cream.
Melbourne family brought me a large bag of Panko crumbs from Costco.  Might make some KFC.

Would be nice to have a freezer full of tomatos.
No cooking here today. Eating up and giving away the cooking from the past 2 days.

Yesterday made a double lot of ginger nut Surprise biscuits.  When Lambie is dropped off in the morning, I give GC a small bag of biscuits to take to school.  They share them with friends.

I’m sure everyone enjoys the biscuits Chookie.
Nothing being made here today. DD made some nice biscuits the other day but it made heaps so they are still being eaten. She has decided she wants to make a decadent layer cake before she goes back to work. The recipe has heaps of Lindt chocolate, sugar, golden syrup and then has a ganache over it. I will be having a small piece.

Homemade biscuits are so much nicer than bought ones, it’s just a pity no-one in my circle seems to eat cake or biscuits.  My DD has subscribed me to the Diabetic magazine from July and I bought myself a subscription yesterday for Healthy Food Guide.  I’ve had both magazines in the past and decided enough was enough as far as recipe books go but my life is different now and I will have more time to browse and cook - or just browse!

Cookie, love the sound of that cake your DD will make.  I only use Lindt chocolate when I cook.  I buy a large bag of both milk and dark buttons from Essential Ingredient.  They last a year or more.  I try not to look at the price tag on the packet, when I use them.  I have to hide them from Ral.
Judy, I am working through the variations for the surprise biscuits. You will enjoy your subscriptions.  Even if you don’t make a lot of the recipes, thy will inspire you.
