I love that you guys cook your men a special Valentine’s Day meal, it was always a day DH and I celebrated and it was the day we got the keys to our first house together.
Enjoy your Rosemary Caramel Sauce whilst it lasts Chookie, a one off by the sounds of it.

I will be ;making something for the biscuit barrel later today when it cools down.It's 1pm and 37 degrees at the moment.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I made fish and vegies on Valentine’s Day as DH went out working. Today I made the best thing , peppermint ice cream slice with malt a milk biscuits as the base and top , you can use crunchy bars but used peppermint crisps !! The recipe is on Cookidoo look up ice cream slice . Once frozen you slice it up the biscuit shape is the size of each . In the freezer ready for snacks in the next few hot days .

Made some Tapanade as requested for DD.  Kept some back and mixed some with Hummus made a lovely spread.
Dietitian said I’m still not having enough fibre. So added Psyllium husks to bread recipe.  3 heaped Teaspoons to No Fuss recipe. Good result.
Made cup cakes Quicker Than a Packet cake TMX Forum recipe for GC.
21 SD crumpets.  They just walk out the door.

Last night I made a concoction with the root vegetables in my weekly CSA box - beautiful young dutch cream potatoes, purple and yellow carrots; fresh onions, bok choi and added a can of lentils, a few herbs and soy sauce - turned out pretty edible, much to my surprise!

Clever girl Marina.  Chookie I’m going to send you a before retiring for the night fibre snack which my Dietician gave me, it even tastes pretty good! 
I bought a bag of ripe tomatoes to make some passata sauce today, I love fresh tomatoes and having some in the house again was tempting me to try one so I chose the smallest one and peeled it - then I ate it.  So now maybe I can get a few items together now for a very plain salad, I’ll buy 1 Lebanese cucumber, peel it and see how it goes. I’m over the moon at the moment with that 1 small win.

Thanks ladies. Oh shopping Marina, that’s so boring having to walk past all the things I can’t have and putting the same few items in my trolley each week.  I can look and drool though LOL.

Judy you need some home grown ones as a treat , maybe the baby mixed tomato pack .
Made plum jam , bonus MILs friend had given her a Box , I got half she said they were the normal ones , found out the bottom ones were blood plums so good . Also made a snack cake with the blood plums .

I've never used one, Judy, but would a mouli work for helping to separate the tomato (and, perhaps, capsicum) skins?

A mouli removes skin and seeds Marina, that’s OK for cooking (although the Thermomix can pureed anyway) but for eating a fresh tomato it’s no trouble peeling it.  For the tomato passata sauce, baking the tomatoes for an hour made the skins easy to remove. I don’t eat raw capsicum at all and I use the a/f to blacken their skins then peel them easily.
