I only made a Classic loaf today and packed up the Panforte I made for DD to take to friends at work.

Cookie, nice amount of chocolate there. The workers need spoiling.
Marina, what a cook up. Great variety.
I’ll quickly cook up a roll of shortbread from freezer for morning tea.

When I cut it up some tiny bits fell off and a few nuts, they were used for quality control.
I saw a recipe for Christmas shortbread using maraschino cherries and pistachios. They turn out pink. I hope to try them this afternoon.

I made a batch of Chookie's Oat Crisps.  I did mine with the cherry on top.  They taste very nice.

We had a wonderful day with our visitors for morning tea , lunch and afternoon tea. I have to admit that the food got a bit out of hand as they wanted to taste everything.Coffee, scones, jam and cream for morning tea.
Lunch My Favourite Quiche, salad , garlic bread, smoked trout and mango and Kefir lemon ice cream.
Afternoon tea, cold drinks and Florentines.
The visitor who we hadn’t met before had just bought a second hand TMX. She is prepared to try anything in it. She is generous with her experimenting and I have benefited from her Burnt Orange Jam and fruit vinegars. I have never met anyone else who has exactly the same interests in cooking and food. Although 30 years younger, she has a similar educational background and general cultural interests. Amazing.

She sounds like the perfect visitor to your house Chookie, I imagine food was the main topic of conversation throughout the day.

She certainly does sound the perfect visitor. I’m sure she was impressed with all your thermomix foods.
I’ve made some Skinny mixer Apple Oat Bars. I don’t have a lot of success with her recipes but had bought the dried apple. https://skinnymixers.com.au/skinnymixers-apple-pie-oat-bars/

I’m going to make more Florentines today. I just love watching people swooning as they eat them.

I made some little lemon things for DD to take to work yesterday. I had some butternut snap biscuits left over so made a base for a fruit mince icecream pie. I love Plum pudding icecream and usually make one, but then I am the only one that eats it.

I also made some Skinnymixer Apple Oat Bars. They are ok.

Cookie, you are lucky you can bake and send the goodies away for others to enjoy. Win win.
I still haven’t made the Florentines. Too many visitors so not complaining.

Stewed up some rhubarb, this will go in the freezer for use later on.  Made some small pastry tart bases to use for little fruit tarts for our vegan GD, also a vegetable filling for her main course of portabella mushrooms.
