No cooking today, we seem to have been busy.

Yum Mab. I made a fruit loaf today. I managed to burn the top and then it got stuck in the tin. it is very light and fluffy and tastes delicious. My oven needs to be descaled so I couldn’t use the steam function. It does make quite a difference.

Despite everything, that loaf does look tasty Cookie.  I love a good fruit loaf but DH doesn't so I am enjoying yours vicariously!

Cookie, nothing wrong with the taste of a disaster. I’ve been known to grate the burnt bit off.  Cool enough to bake today.
Collected Kenwood yesterday. Looks and works like new. I’ve put Mabs sponge recipe aside so might make one today.

That loaf still looks tasty Cookie.

I cut up another batch of tomato chutney today and have a beef pie filling in the SC

I found a Choc Chip Oatmeal biscuit recipe in one of the supermarket magazines. They sounded nice, so I made them. They are basically Anzacs with choc chips in. Very nice.

I don’t recommend the Pav in the AF. Looked good before baking but was soft and sticky.
