Made this today in my refurbished TM31

- it certainly had more get up and go than it has had lately.

That’s good news about your 31 Judy.

As I don’t use it now as much as I did in the first 10 years (it’s 14 years old now) I expect it to see me out cookie. I found myself talking to it and it was nice to see it back in it’s spot.

My TM31 is the same, K Atie and Judy. I have been promising it for ages that I would send it for a service, but never seem to find the time.
Made a vegan mushroom stroganoff and a Moroccan chickpea and sweet potato stew with couscous, both totally delicious. Ran out of time to make anything else because we had a power cut scheduled for mid afternoon.

Nothing here, the freezer is full of meals I’ve cooked.
Marina, I am interested in which recipe you used for the Chickpea/sweet potato stew as I’d like to try that once I reduce my freezer contents. I had a look online and there are so many!

I made some waffles in the KMart snack maker. A bit fiddly as you can only make 2 at a time.

Nothing much here, either, probably just roast some veges up and make a frittata.

Ral home yesterday, for a week before operation. On low fibre high protein diet. Still no veggies or fruit. His dinner last night was grilled chicken and mashed potato. No fruit trifle. I steamed beans from garden and broccoli for me.
SC, to cook gravy beef and marrow bones to make beef broth. Butcher cut bones into 1 inch sections so as to extract more nutrients.
K ATIE, Fig jam would have to be my favourite. Also like Judy love them raw.
Have been making lots of jelly. Apple and raspberry and Crab Apple. Also lots of lemon butter.

Poor you and Ral Chookie. I have been thinking about you both. I do hope he can get things sorted out and eat your delicious cooking again. Hugs to you both.
Choc Chip Slice. I used milk, dark and gold choc chips.

The slice looks moorish cookie.
I’ve made another batch of Tenina’s Cranberry and Almond Granuesli. Not sure how long a batch lasts so I’ve put a date on this lot just for interest sake. I only use 1/4 cup in my breakfast smoothies.
Also stewed 500g ripe plums I was given, I used this recipe from RC
https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/desserts-sweets-recipes/stewed-plums/b9id3z3t-fdf18-870394-cfcd2-7l5mmhsu
but left out the cloves, only added 2 Tbs water and cooked for 10 mins.
