That prep of the beans sounds fine, Judy.  I wonder if the beans were old as that could make a difference.

The choc chip buns worked well this time. 3/4 cup kneaded in before forming buns.

I will try the marmalade idea too, I’ll give it a go.
Yesterday I made a chocolate Swiss roll from Bec’s Table.  She uses heat while the eggs and sugar beat. (60°). I didn’t want to put cream in it so I used mascarpone with a bit of icing sugar and flavoured it with coffee vanilla.

This is the site. I’m not sure if I can share the recipe but it may be oh here in her free recipes.

I made roasted pumpkin soup and an Alfredo sauce for pasta.

The roll looks nice cookie. There is a direct link to the free recipe https://becs-table.com.au/chocolate-swiss-roll/

Thanks for the link Judy.
Chookie that pie looks perfect.
I did a Classic loaf today and have made a recipe from Cookidoo for dinner. Moroccan Filled Bread Rolls. I mucked around with the mince flavourings a bit. I also made a Muesli Slice.

Cookie, that filled bread recipe looks interesting. I sometimes cook small rolls, scoop out most of the crumbs fill with curry mince and reheat in AF.
Have an overnight SD loaf rising. Will give it 2 rises before baking.

Some busy ladies here with all that lovely cooking.  Yesterday I made some shortbread and pecan biscuits.  Some went in the freezer and some disappeared out the door to DS's house.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I’ve made pumpkin soup and also tried a cabbage & lentil soup but that ended up in the bin. It seems I can only eat red lentils not the other types and the only way to find that out is to try them.

Would it have been possible to puree it Judy? Maybe it still wouldn't be palatable.
