Judy, I'm not a fan of them either.

I must admit I prefer chick peas or beans Judy.
I plan to make a cake this afternoon.

It looks very tasty Chookie.
I have a Classic Loaf rising and one of Chookie's cold oven loaves in at the moment. I used a gift card from my brother and points I had from Coles yesterday and bought a Kitchen Aid casserole they have. It's cast iron and seems pretty good. This is it's first bread making.

Nice baking everyone.

Yesterday I made a pot of roast pumpkin soup and some Anzac biscuits.   This morning I made 1/2 dozen hot cross buns.  Sorry the photo is a bit blurry.

They look lovely Margaret. When I used to make them they were always too dark, I love the colour of yours.

Also like the pale Buns, Mab.
Photo of cake for staff at hospital. Baked in Bundt tin but icing covered the shape. It has a hole in the Center that I filled with tiny eggs.
