Thanks for the tips, K Atie, I'll see if I can find the recipe. I am on a TM31 so don't have access to Cookiedoo, I'll also take a look at Thermobexta's blog.

I made some cranberry and almond biscuits from Cookidoo this morning. They are a basic shortbread recipe with cranberries and flaked almonds in. Also the zest of an orange and ½ teaspoon almond essence. They are very nice.
Also some SD discard crackers with chilli in.

That one looks good as well, Judy, thanks for the link.
Today it was Corn chowder, a broccoli and basil pesto and roast vege frittata.

DS request for lunch on the tractor planting Lupins was chunky bolognese pasta . Yes it’s on Cookidoo and a Skinnymixers recipe.

I’ve cooked a SD loaf for DH and will soon cook my rye SD loaf.
This is the loaf cut.

Nothing excites me more than seeing a picture of a great looking loaf cookie, if I could smell it that would add to my enjoyment.

Thanks. The recipe is set out in the new book I bought. The Sourdough Whisperer. I followed her recipe exactly. You don't knead it, just stretch and folds, then sit it on the bench overnight. Fold once more, put it into a banneton and pop in the fridge for 3-24 hours. Then bake directly from the fridge.

A pot of curried cauliflower & vegetable soup for lunches. I went a little bit heavy with the curry so it's a bit spicy.

It is Judy, the only thing you need is time to do the waiting.
DH has gone over to help our elderly friend with a few jobs. I think it is the company as much as the jobs.
I've just realised that I need to make some sort of muesli slice. We usually have one in the freezer. That way if anyone has to go out and haven't eaten they can grab one. It's usually DD being called in to work but DH likes them too. Don't tell anyone but I have been known to indulge too.

Made an emergency pot of soup from whatever I could find in my cupboard - not a fresh vegetable in sight, all tins and dehydrated soup mix and stock. Turned out OK, will add pasta to end up with a type of minestrone.

Our bread supply is good, the biscuit barrel is full, therefore no cooking here except for dinner.
