Yesterday made yogurt. Too much again for yogurt container so set leftovers again in oven. Warmed oven to 50 degrees. Poured yogurt into a plastic container. Switched off oven heat but left light on. Placed container on shelf. It set in the same time as that in yogurt machine. 8 hours.

Our tomatoes are not doing very well this year, so I managed to buy some at a reasonable price and made Tomato Chutney this morning. Also blanched & froze more beans.

I made some more dill pickles and a Ploughman's Pickle. The latter from Tenina.

I’ve made an unusual choc chip biscuit using EVOO. It’s in the freezer at the moment.

You have been busy, Margaret.
Today a nut loaf, tomorrow is an experimental macaroni, cheese and veges dish and a lentil and sweet potato salad.

Our dear friend Judy , sent via her DD and SIL the fab RTE recipe book. I’ve read every recipe and all the notes. Wow, what a book.
This morning I made her recipe for the ‘ Easy Crusty Artisan Bread’. This is of course one that we have all made many times before. I changes the ingredients and added 100 g of cooked mixed grains which I minced in the TMX before I added the rest.
I also made Chow Mein using my recipe from my Blog but took inspiration from RTE recipe and added some additional sauce ingredients.

That loaf looks fantastic, Chookie, is it a sourdough or yeast bread. What a lovely gift from Judy. I still have to start going through her recipes and decide what I will try firt.

Chookie, that loaf looks good , it's on my list to do along with another try at the Portuguese bread.
I made the RTE brown rice salad to have with dinner tonight.

DD and DS coming today so thought I’d make roast pumpkin soup for lunch. Some leftover Portuguese bread for garlic croutons. Apple Muffins.

How lovely of Judy. RTE book is great.
Mab I've found with the Portuguese bread that I have been more or less pouring it into the tin I use. I use a very big bread tin for the recipe.
I made some Haloumi yesterday. I used the recipe on Cookidoo and although it takes a long time, a lot of it is letting things cool etc.
The chocolate biscuits I made the over day were from a recipe in the Women's Weekly. I then found it on the Cobram website.
https://cobramestate.com.au/recipe/chocolate-chip-cookies
I put the choc chips in the cookie.
