I felt like making some bread today so made a Foccacia from the forum.  Unfortunately I can't eat it but DH liked it and ate one end of it.

I also made up the tomato chutney that I had cut up yesterday.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

 Mab,  delicious.
Plum and dark fruits jam. The dark fruits are a frozen packet from the supermarket.
Warmer today, so might make some rice paper rolls.

I completed an all rye SD loaf today; I started it last night. It’s a very heavy bread, full of rye and seeds, but full of taste.

I cut another lot of tomatoes for sauce.  Also made some bread rolls and a bread stick, these are still in the oven.

I’ve been given more plums. Plenty of jam now so will make more plum vinegar and plum sauce. Might also have a go at GF Hot X Buns.

Making another batch of thermobexta's sweet chilli sauce - DH is disgusted by the 'sweet' part ... he asks can't I make it without 'sweet' ... sorry DH, you're dead out of luck there!

Yesterday DGF and I finished the first batch it tomato relish and put the second batch on ! I took my TM6 over and made three batches of tomato ketchup ( we were trying to use up the tomatoes 🍅. So 22 jars of tomato relish ! 3 tomato ketchup ( for us I more to make at home ) . In all we made two double batches it onion jam , two double batches of tomato relish, these are for our annual hospital market . The ketchup was off cookidoo and it is so hot 🥵 the 3rd lot I took out the hot paprika and cayenne. Not spicy at all so maybe I’ll halve the hot paprika and a sprinkle of cayenne. Only draw back it says to keep in the fridge .

I just did the last batch of tomato ketchup for me . Just makes a full passata bottle . Did use cayenne and only used paprika not hot paprika . This one is mild . Yes I think I’m more tired than anything else .

I’ve started the Plum Vinegar. Picking a couple of cherry tomatoes each day, enough to keep me going. . I’m amazed at all the tomato cooking you are doing KAtie. All for a good cause.
Mab, your bread looks very good.
Tomorrow is going to be hot so I’ll cook today.

10 kilos of the most beautiful fat tomatoes ! But yes it’s all for a good cause and we each have kept two jars of onion jam and tomarto relish and made the 4 tomato ketchup bottles for ourselves , just not to waste them . But I’m over doing it for awhile I think .

KAtie, I know how you feel when you say you are over it.  I feel like that after I’ve made a big lot of jam, however I still say yes when offered more fruit. Quince are next. How can I say no to them?
