I think ham and fig jam would be rather nice together. I love cheese and jam together and many years ago I was introduced to rich fruit cake with a slab of cheddar on it, very tasty.

I was give a large bag of the most beautiful large apples. A friend identified them as Bramleys.  They are a bit tart like Granny Smith’s. I’ve been bottling them in the microwave and eating them. I’ve also used them in apple cakes.
I’ve a little fillet steak left over. Will make a stir fry for lunch.

I didn’t get to make fig and lime jam this year , it’s a Dani Valent recipe on Cookidoo . Might be good with ham .

I was informed that DH and DD needed more bread. It was too late to feed up the SD starter so I made a thermomumma loaf for them. I usually weigh each portion, but as you can see I didn’t this time.

Thanks Judy. I love making bread.
Today I made some veggie stock and some Snickerdoodle biscuit using Pumpkin spice. They are very nice, which is lucky as the recipe made heaps.

Made chicken stock paste , I alway keep vegetable stock paste in fridge. But I think this will have to be stored in freezer, what does everyone do ? Also made some more Malaysian curry powder! Now I used cayenne powder instead of chilli flakes - I think I mucked up as this may not be the same . Or it’s going to be super spicy hot .

KAtie, I keep my TMX stocks in the freezer.
Lemon and carrot marmalade. Tangelo marmalade.
I’m having a water filter installed tomorrow so will make something for morning tea. Maybe apple cakes.

What a disaster. Made some biscuits and they were awful. Waste of good ingredients. Will try one again today and if still think them awful will chuck out.

Biscuits not so bad. I’ll get a friend to try them tomorrow and see what she thinks.
Preparing chicken legs with raisins and almonds, for lunch tomorrow.   A Guardian recipe. Smashed potatoes and zucchini and tomatoes.
Belgium Lemon tart. Haven’t made this for a while. From my Blog.
