Do you remember, SOS ? I made some white sauce from this powder mix and used it as a base for chicken and mushroom pot pies. Lovely.

Last night and today I made marrow bone broth on the stove . I removed the fat and reheated it this morning and strained it now in the fridge . Thought we should start drinking this each day , but I’m sure it will end up as soup .

Yesterday I made a thermomumma loaf. It got stuck in the tin and I called DH to help. He managed to get it out, but then dropped the tin on the hot bread. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Today I made a Classic loaf and some choc chip biscuits. With some of the biscuits I put a blob of frozen biscoff in the middle. It’s very nice.

Oh hell Cookie. That’s a shame.
Cooked a Beef in Stout.  For the kids dinner tomorrow night. Only need peas and mashed potatoes.

I’ve been making some strange jam mixes. The feed back has been amazing. Today I’ll try a different one. Quince and Red grapes. The Lemon, Carrot and Cardamon is quite nice , although my favourite at the moment is plain Mandarin Marmalade.

I don't think DH and I will need to cook for at least the rest of the time we are on our break up here in Guildford.  Our neighbour bought over a huge pot of pumpkin soup, then a friend bought over more pumpkin soup, several foccacia halves and cake (they were the left overs from her DH's 60th birthday).  We had been invited but due to their circumstances (I would not have been able to get in on my knee scooter), we got to enjoy it yesterday instead.

Found a large piece of Panatone leftover from Xmas. Made a bread and butter pudding with it from a recipe that had grapes added. Also coffee liqueur.

This Bread and butter pud was lovely.  I’ll be buying an extra Panatone next Xmas to make this again. The recipe prepositions weren’t correct. Easily remedied. Also very easy. I used a tin of cherries.
Making chocolate cakes for pud tonight.

I found a gluten free pack of bread mix in the cupboard ! It was very sticky. But looks good . Also made Apple cinnamon muffins from Cookidoo they have a slice of apple on top , not bad need to cook a little longer next time .
