I made a seed loaf from Thermogroovers. It goes into a cold oven. After about 15 or so minutes I could smell burning. I checked the oven and the bread had risen into the top
Oven elements. When I opened the door the bread burst into flames. I was going to close the door and cut off the oxygen, but we needed the bread. I managed to tip the loaf over and DH shifted the oven shelf down. I popped the loaf back in to finish cooking. I haven’t cut it yet. I thought it was rather funny.

Ha Cookie. It will probably taste of smoke. Before I was shown the correct settings on my new oven, all my bread was burnt on the top.
Growing lots of zucchinis. Might try Zucchini fingers dipped in Parmesan and panko crumbs and baked in Ninja.

Friend at Probus asked if I would show her how to cook things in her AF. Not just reheat. Especially scones. Ive done so in the past but thought i had better brush up. I made Nay Nays recipe in TMX. And tried two different times and temperatures. Best, preheated for 5 minutes, 6 , 6 cm scones for 8 minutes, turned over, cook further 2 minutes. Perfect
Today I’m baking Almond crackle biscuits and zucchini falafels for DD

I'm not sure if I will bake today. It's 37 at the moment. The biscuit barrel does need refilling.

Caramalized onions.  Roasted tomatoes from the garden with onion & garlic for the freezer.

I have been given a lot vegetables this weekend so I cobbled something together with lentils, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, broccolini and loads of other things in it, with potatoes on top (I am calling it a vegan shepherds pie, but that is a stretch of the imagination) and a green bean casserole.
Marina from Melbourne and Guildford

Apricot Chicken and plain risotto. 3 bread sticks. Tomato and peach salad, again. Put turkey breast strips in oven and forgot about them as I was talking. Look like Cookies loaf, black.
Reheated frozen scones in AF.
