Good to hear the ketchup recipe is yummy....we love it in this house :)

We are going to a BBQ tonight so I minced my onion for rissoles and also made the garlic and herb dip out of the EDC.  The crisper had a clean out today too so I made a batch of vegie stock.  :)

Making a quick chicken & vege quinoa curry for dinner - has apples and sultanas in it (as well as veges, chicken, a bit of tikka paste, etc) - I hope the kids will eat it!!

Well my entire house smells CRAZY good because I am cooking the S L O W RIBS as just posted on the blog. HUGE help from Thermomix on this one, as it does all the reduction work that used to give me a sore arm in days of old.

With sweet and salty glaze THANKS TO THERMOMIX, this is one succulent recipe! It takes hours of baking, but not much hands-on time, so here I am playing on the forum as the ribs bake and the smells pour out on the street to make all the neighbours salivate.  :o :-)) :P

Today is more of Helene's lovely rustic bread, and fruit cake.

Today I've done curried sausages/rice, ketchup and have a tuna/rice pie in the oven as I speak.

Tonight I decided to have a clean out of the crisper so made the veg stock concentrate from MWOF.  This is the first time I've done the stock concentrate with parmesan cheese.  Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this is any better than the stock without cheese added?  After this was made I still had vegies left so I made Trudy's Sweet Potato & Leek soup - I must be mad cooking at this time of the night.

That quinoa chicken & vege curry I made last night was soooo good - I think I could eat it every day!  Just need to tweak it a bit as it wasn't enough, didn't fill the bowl.

I've had an enforced absence from Thelma over the last few days as decorators took over my kitchen.  Finally got in there today and wiped up some of the dust  :-))

Then made the bolognaise sauce from FEC and the chicken chowder from here.

Both gorgeous, have eaten loads of the chowder even tho' I'm not in the least hungry!  Am consoling self with the fact that its good for me and not tooooo fattening.

Phew, good to be back!

I so enjoyed the curried sausages/rice the other night for ourselves that I have cooked it again down here at DD2's for their meal tonight.

:D I made a batch of rock cakes so the kids could take them to school this morning. Finally have made the vegetable stock at lunch time, it smelt fantastic! This afternoon saw me showing off to my sis-in-law with another batch of rock cakes as my brother and his wife called in and helped eat the first batch. While my non tmx salmon patties were cooking i asked my DH to help
with the coleslaw, when he saw how easy and quick it was his jaw dropped and it was beautiful, not that I had to but I think I'm winning him over. What will tomorrow bring ( i need a rest from the rk cakes). Jenny :P

I cooked the Moroccan Lamb from the Meat On The Menu book....So Tasty, but I must admit a little too sweet.Dont get me wrong I will certainly make it again but maybe next time Ill leave the honey out or Ill only put in half the dates and half the honey...Has anyone else made this? If you have what do you think? I assumed it might have been a little spicy.

Yesterday I steamed a couple of eggs and had them on toast for breakky, then made the lemonade out of the MWOC for the first time...I was very impressed with how simple and yummy that was.  Then today I attempted the pea and ham soup out of the EDC but soaked the peas overnight first.  I still don't think it tastes anywhere near as yummy as my stovetop version...will have to keep working on that one.
