I'm trying to find Jamie's 30 minute book. I'm sure it will re appear soon.
We're having curry using TMX Tikka paste, rice and Naan bread. Celebrating multi culturalism in Australia 8).

I'm also doing another batch of sourdough bread using the rye starter and all bakers' flour.

Lamb Curry With Mushrooms from the F&E Indian Cooking page 80 and Apple-Nut bread from MYOC page 252.The Apple-Nut bread was very interesting to make,it's cooling at the moment so I will get to taste it and review it tomorrow.

Today I've had what feels like a cookathon - bread, chocolate chip scones (must post recipe - I've adapted it from FAEC), cheese sauce for pasta, carrot cakes and topping for carrot cakes.

Tomorrow I'm doing more bread, more carrot cakes and more chocolate chip scones (trying to fill the freezer with cakes and snacks), tikka paste and a vindaloo for dh ...

Am now snuggled in bed with a  hot chocolate and a book - yum :)

We loved it Lovemythermo.I only used 1x400g tin of tomatoes and added 200g of potatoes as I wanted a thicker gravy. My DS isn't keen on mushrooms so I only used 200g.Didn't brown the meat in the frying pan, I just heaved it all in the slow cooker to cook.

Yesterday I did a huge cook-a-thon, so today I'm resting.  I made

LSA meal
Capsicum and sun dried tomato dip
Quirky Jo's Vegetables and Cashews with Coconut Satay Sauce and Coconut Rice - using tofu instead of chicken
Huge pot of passata (conventional method)
Noodle and cheese slice (from JudyDawn)
Puff pastry (thanks Frozzie)
Cyndi O'Meara's sausage rolls
Naan bread (I think from Achookwoman)
Breakfast Hash (JudyDawn to the rescue again)

.... exhausted just thinking about it, but my freezer is nice and full now.

Today I made smoothie for breakfast; chicken udon soup for lunch (with the chicken stock from yesterday); Lime and Yoghurt Cake for dessert; and Honey Soy Chicken drummettes with steamed veg and rice for dinner.

Maddy I make liquid chicken stock most weeks from the chicken carcass.
Pop the carcass, celery stalks/leaves, onion, garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves and maybe a carrot into the basket. A litre or so of water in the bowl. Cook 35 mins, 100°, speed 4.
Kids love soup made from it usually just with a few veg, noodles/pasta, garlic, herbs, soy sauce, maybe chilli added. So a really cheap and easy lunch or dinner with rolls.

Zucchini pasta here tonight. Too many zucchinis in the garden and too hot for anything else. The freezer still has the fresh apricot icecream in it so that's dessert.

Had to feed a worker and his wife today (friends) so cooked a Pork Rib Roast and jacket potatoes in the weber (37oC here today), made coleslaw, boiled eggs & Maddy's Bacon and Cheese rolls in the TMX and made a tossed salad.  Went down very well.
