Thanks Judy. I must admit I am surprised the rockcakes survived being moved to smaller baking sheets and then cooling off a little while the other oven heated up. But I hate to waste anything so it was worth a try.  :)

Breakfast made ham and cheese omlette (not tmx)

Made spreadable butter (using Quirky Jo's recipe, but not making the butter) as butter even at room temp here is just too hard.

Lunch made a noodle and vegetable and duck in oyster sauce stirfry.

Using tmx, yum!

Made duck stock.

Made cookies

Dinner  - pizza

(sorry can't be bothered re writing and linking. And don't have the link to Jo's great post on butter as can't get onto her blog tonight.

Great minds Zan, I did spreadable butter - also did a batch for my sister. Roast lamb and vegs for dinner with dessert being choc self saucing pudding and EDC custard.  :)  :)

Today I've made farfallina's Steamed Salmon with Champignons, a cauliflower, leek and potato soup and an eggless chocolate custard which I froze and then made into ice-cream.

I did pizza bases yesterday and it was so cold they took ages to rise. I couldn't do it in the oven as I was making a yummy carrot loaf. Today will be soup, and soup as it is freezing. 1.51pm and 110C.

It is the strangest frosting recipe I have used - but it certainly is fabulous!

Maddy - just ordered 2 of the cupcake couriers - one for me and one for a friends birthday!  You are a bad influence on both my waistline and my bank balance!

LOL....glad I could help  :P

Ohhhhh - I didnt even think of the space in the cupboard  :P too late, ordered one already!

Ummm.....hate to break it to you, but she's pretty big!  ;)
You'll love it though.....and I have used mine more than I had expected to.
.........EAT CAKE!

Gosh Chookie I thought I was doing well to make a loaf of bread before I took the dog for his walk this morning ( 8.30am) but it sounds as though you had a cooking marathon :D :D Did your sister enjoy all your efforts  :)

Glad to see you stuck at that burnt orange sauce until you got it right.  Sounds easy enough though Chookie, just cook it until it burns  ;) ;)

Thanks for the pizza dough rising tip Chookie. It was so cold (max 120C that I used it as an excuse to put the heater on. :D I'm not used to that sort of cold here during the day. I'm a typical cockies (wheat farmer) daughter-I'm always complaining about the weather. :-)) :-))

I am making a fish pie for supper for my DD and I. I would also have been making a strawberry shortcake tart filled with Creme Patissiere but I made a late call at the supermarket and because the shop was closing, I was "forced" into being given a big green almond bomb concoction, filled with cream and sponge. I am making JuliaO's cob loaf today as well.
