Definitely agree with Maddy - I have used this three times in the last week, best frosting that I have used so velvety and smooth  :) :)

It is the strangest frosting recipe I have used - but it certainly is fabulous!

Maddy - just ordered 2 of the cupcake couriers - one for me and one for a friends birthday!  You are a bad influence on both my waistline and my bank balance!

I was recently given a recipe book called Feel Good Food and decided to tackle one of the recipes in it today.  It was a tofu ‘steak’ with a really unusual topping or sauce, combining tahini, lemon zest and juice, shoyu, sesame seeds, whole grain mustard and a couple of other (for me) unusual Asian ingredients.  I tasted it with some trepidation and, although it had a very different taste, it was really delicious.  Very easy and quick to make and can be eaten hot or cold.  This is a non TMX recipe and I don’t think there would be any benefit in converting it to TMX as it is so easy and straightforward.

I need the cupcake courier today, but I'm trying to tell myself that it will take up too much room in my cupboards...love it tho!

Things were going so well this afternoon. The homemade butter and the green smoothie were in the fridge, the tomato soup (divided into individual portions) was in the freezer, the bible bread was proving on the stove top, the rockcakes were in the oven, the choc raspberry icecream was in the icecream maker and I was making the date and almond muffin mix in the thermie.

Suddenly lights went out and everything stopped.  :o The oven had tripped the circuit breaker. (Can't find a pic for angry swearing)

Luckily I have another smaller oven and surprisingly everything turned out OK in the end (except the oven) although took much longer than planned.

So dinner was the very quick and easy JudyDawn's Mince meat curry with sultanas and extra veg served with steamed rice. All good :)

A cook's worst nightmare djinni. Glad it all worked out in the end though - that was a huge day in the kitchen.
