That sounds like a good plan you've developed there, CP.
This weekend I had to get so much cooking done as I only had ice cubes left in my freezers - huge pot of plain steamed rice, noodle and cheese slice, leek and tomato risotto, Gemuse Eintopf, Cashew and Cauliflower Korma and, finally, Satay steamed veges with tofu and coconut rice. Freezers are full again so I can relax for a couple of days.

I wish I could get my freezer down to just trays of ice-cubes Marina
It would be nice to start from scratch and menu plan before filling it up again.
Had to google Gemuse Eintopf - was it this recipe from
Quirky Jo's blog
?

Yes, it's off Quirky Jo's blog. I've made it a few times now and puree it to use as a vegetable accompainment with a main meal. Nice, easy recipe and can be easily varied, but I like QJ's version just as it is. The Satay veges and tofu is also QJ's "Classic" recipe - except she uses chicken, I just substitute the tofu to make it vegetarian.

Judy I know I Definitly wouldn't do as much cooking. Was easier for me just to buy premade stuff for lunches. Now it's easier to make it myself.

Maddy the cupcakes are stunning.
Is this the stand that lives on your DD bookshelf
Thanks, and yes it's that one
She hasn't even noticed it was in her room.......she doesn't manage to see the clutter either
Creampuff......your cupcakes are lovely!......no one can resist a cake with sparkles, which I do admit to slightly abusing the sparkles on
everything

Robyn, I usually by them at a cake decorating store locally, but I have spotted them in spotlight too (usually more expensive though).
You have to make sure you use the ones marked as
"edible"
glitter, and not the one that says food glitter (that one is mainly for decoration that won't be eaten).
I'm sure unless you eat pots of the stuff, there will be no real damage, but the lady I deal with said that the food standards have toughened up on it.
The main place I buy online is:
Baking Pleasures
(check that whole store out.....wonderful stuff!)
