I second that, that's one superb cake Monica. Were each layers different types of cake? When my DD got married she didn't want a traditional fruit so she chose a three tier cake of chocolate, then lemon and then chocolate again.

The second biggest tier was a very rich chocolate truffle cake Next Luscious Lemon and top traditional fruit that will freeze until the 1st christening.
great cakes girls....certainly are some very talented people on this forum today i made (and late last night into the early hours!) mini chicken quiches, crumbed curry chicken bites, pizza scrolls, a huge batch of potato mash (non thx) and just cut up some organic tomatoes with some mozzarella (buffalo) and fruit salad for dessert plus the cake and cupcakes...huge day lots of fun and now DS is playing with all his new toys..exhausting and worse thing is that DD has hers in a few days (will be painful when i have to have parties one weekend after another lol!!) Did face painting, pin spiderman on his web, egg and spoon, tag and all sorts of traditional bday games..the kids here love it and arent used to all that...started at lunch and finished early evening...bday parties here are just for the cake and for about 2 hours max!
