Thanks JD

This recipe contained:
4 eggs
200g sugar
170g cream
170g lemon juice
40g butter

I just followed the directions in the EDC for the lemon butter and it worked a treat.  Actually I think it worked better than the recipe I was converting as in that recipe they strained the mix to get the hard bits of egg white out of it.  That didn't happen in the TMX.

Raspberry ripple icecream and then a potato and leek tart to go with lamb chops.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Good luck, Nazar.  I like the value of the prizes, makes the whole thing more relaxed, fun and enjoyable than a serious competition.

That's one great cooking spree Nazar - good luck at the show.  Winning the award is certainly far more rewarding than the prize money - my DH once did a talc carving at one of his MS therapy sessions years ago and won first prize.  It was such a thrill, thought I'd show it to you all.

How clever Judy - what was combined with the powder to form the clay consistency?   :)  :)

It started off as a solid lump of soapstone which comprises mainly of talc so it is quite soft for carving Robyn.  They just put a lump in front of him and he came up with a vision of what he could make - that was the final accomplishment.  I thought it was so clever of him to see something in a block of nothing.  Found a picture of a lump of talc on the net to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Thanks Judy here's me thinking it was talc powder combined with some type of paste - this forum turn the age old saying of learn something new every day to 'learn something new anytime' you wander the halls of learning that is the forum  :)  :)
