well we all have put on a little surplus kilos post TM
so she made "Pasta with bacon, tomato & sour cream sauce" from the latest Weight Watchers magazine. It was really tasty, and she was thinking she could easily convert it to TM.

no not really, she tried some cake today and it hurt to eat as it stuck to her throat, then she tried the rum-less rum balls and it scratched as it went down. She seems to be having a lot of trouble when it comes to eating anything.

I'm sure she could do that CP. My girls both loved to cook when they were young, they used to watch me cooking for dinner parties and were both capable of cooking up a storm. I would have been very disappointed to raise daughters who were not interested in cooking.

Today has been some Pumperkickel bread and 2 sourdough loaves. Made some pasties and will make a mushroom in sauce dish for dinner.

l work at frail age home there classed as low maintence ,so can look after themselves
and l thought to myself what to do with all the slices ect l cooked for the show and l thought the residents only get boring stuff for morning/afternoon tea
so guess what they had today and they loved it and thought all the christmas had come at once .
l also took in the first and second prize cards to show them
it gave them something to talk about and they felt very special to be eating my prize winning food

That's very thoughtful, Nazar. I'm sure their usual food is very nutritious but nothing beats home cooked for a very special treat. Many congratulations on all your prizes, as well, that was a great achievement - I'm sure the buzz of winning was more fun than the actual prize money itself.

How nice Nazar, and sharing the story behind the food is what they would have loved the most. You know what I mean, great food and something different to think about and tell there family.

Nazar, what a thoughtful thing to do - it would have brightened their day for sure. It would have taken them back to the days when they used to bake everything themselves.

What a good Woolies promo! I actually got 2 x Lurpack butter + loaf tin + little booklet for $1.99
, as they weren't selling in Tamworth!! Unbelievable! Shopping trolleys are filled with diet coke but they wouldn't touch real butter
Anyway the date & pecan loaf recipe was quite nice, hope you enjoyed it AmandaN.
