He is adorable. You are a lucky Grandma and he is a lucky grandson.

Soft bread, as it is the only type DGS will eat.

Beautiful bread RosieB - which recipe did you use?

The recipe is one I found on the 'Instructables" site.
http://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Bread-Recipe/
I used double the recipe to make the three small loaves. It makes a lovely loaf that Che will eat. He usually will only eat bought bread that has to be white and square. !!!!
LOL.. You can see it was a bit overactive in the 'rising' stage in the photo on the Ooops thread.
I am still playing with it to get the mix right. I Have reduced the yeast quite a bit (this lot was 4 1/2 tsp) and I think it still need to come back even more

Even with a TMX I've had no time to cook lately - mostly because I've been taken out to dinner lots, lucky me! Today I've made Ferrero Rocher Icecream, still freezing, mixture tastes fantastic. Tuscan Beef Stew from Dinner Spinner for dinner tonight, no time to make the polenta, will serve with pasta.
My copy of Quick Mix arrived today - gorgeous book, look forwarding to reading it thoroughly tonight.

JD your GS is very cute, isn't nice being a grandparent, you do actually have time to spend with them and get so much pleasure doing so.
