Cheese and bacon rolls, hot cross buns, choc chip cookies, choc crunch (not sure what else yet) and pizza for tea tonight. Temperature is rising here, I got the fan going in the kitchen to help keep me cool. Better get back to it ope everyone doesn't melt away today where ever you might be.

Had nearly 3 litres of milk that needed to used quickly (umm today actually) so the thermie (with both bowls ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D) was very busy this afternoon.
I made 2 batches of Quirky Jo's quick caramel custard (one to be soft serve for dessert tonight I hope), Chookie's fruit loaf kneaded in TMX, baked in breadmaker, Chookie's Berry Shaker Quaker pudding, Cathy79's Tuna mornay with pasta, Maddy's Nigella's choc chip banana muffins and a loaf of milk bread in the breadmaker.

Thanks Judy. I do love this forum. I did a search on 500g milk and all of these yummy recipes appear. Milk glut problem solved.

Yesterday we had a surprise birthday party for my mothers 70th birthday.  Cooked roast lamb in the weber and family brought an assortment of salads and sides.  I wanted to post a photo of the cake I made her - inspired by her love of both patchwork quilting and fresh fruit!   Tonight we are having shepherds pie with the left over roast lamb.
