Wow faffa what an effort!!  Lucky you have so many mouths to eatball that food...

lol it's because of all those mouths that I make all the food!! Still didn't get all made that I wanted, so have to make a couple of things during the week while I play, though DH has just started with gastro so maybe won't need so much food  :-)) :-))

Yes, I realised about the app and Dinner Spinner Tasty so it will be an ongoing thing.  I was looking forward to at least 1 book being totally finished but guess that is never going to happen if more recipes are added to the app.

After your review then Dashingden, that leaves only one recipe in Dinner Spinner not reviewed.  Any takers for the Seeded Quinoa Salad pge 43?

Ok Judy. I have the quinoa soaking for tonight's dinner. Will let you know how it goes.

I have made the seeded quinoa salad (with amaranth that I mistook for quinoa!). It's a very tasty and versatile salad, thumbs up from DH and I.

Gosh you have all been very busy. I'm doing the day to day bits and pieces but have a chronic case of the 'can't be bothereds'. Nothing terminal. Just bread as we need it, meals and keep the cookie barrel filled.

Hi Hally. It's a sort of grain I think. It has a nice nutty flavor with a bit of a pop in your mouth when you eat it. Check out Quirky Jo's blog which talks about it. Sorry, I haven't worked out how to link yet.  It makes a nice change from rice.

I am revisiting the Warm Chicken, Pumpkin and Couscous Salad from the Veroma demonstration.  My couscous didn't steam very well and in fact was still hard and dry. The wet baking paper was falling apart and couscous was stuck to it. I ended up just making  some more couscous the stove top method.

I think I will make this again in a few weeks but I might try substituting quinoa for the couscous  I will try cooking it in the steamer basket while the chicken and pumpkin are steaming.
