I've had fun in the kitchen today, just felt like making things.

Caramelised Garlic Paste from For Food's Sake
Hotpot with leftovers for lunch.
Cheddar Butter from For Food's Sake
Citrus Herb Butter "     "        "
Golden Syrup cakes from the forum
Cranberry & Almond Granuesli from For Food's Sake

Hally, I'm just going to throw a bit in anything and everything (savoury of course  ;D).  Probably use it in place of fresh garlic in recipes.  Have added another to the above list, forgot the Granuesli, thought there was something missing.

Mab 19,  looks like you have the 'touch' with the buns. ;D
Judy,  i thought I had a great 'cook up'  today but you beat me.

Made Tenina's Soft Buttermilk Rolls,  great,  have written a review as i made a few small changes.
Made French Style Sourdough Baguettes from Yoke's book.  These would take 10 hours if made in one day.  Lots of resting time. Popped them in the fridge over night. They look really good , but won't know until tomorrow as we are taking them when we go out for lunch.
Made loaf of Miso and Rye with more Miso to see how it is.(posted)
Made Hot X Buns by hand.  Same recipe ,except I used dried Cherries instead of Cranberries,  different process.  Brushed with egg wash,  (for Judy who doesn't like the sticky sugar syrup)  Good result.  Brush prior to 2nd, rise and again before oven.  OH I hate the dough on my hands.

Left over Chow Mien , out of freezer for dinner.  Fresh Blackberries with cream for DH. after a Hot X Bun.

Yes to the egg wash, and most of the 'cooked dough' has been given away .  I froze 8 HXBuns for the ladies on Friday.  We will have warm HXBuns for morning tea so they can sample how theirs should taste.

I was given the royal command to make Gingernuts this afternoon. Tonight I am cooking the beef and black bean nachos from Dinner Spinner.

After your review then Dashingden, that leaves only one recipe in Dinner Spinner not reviewed.  Any takers for the Seeded Quinoa Salad pge 43?

Today I made Marmalade & Oat Muffins, Stephanie Alexanders Basic Muffin Recipe.

Made Calaprese Pizzas with leftover TMX Pizza Dough

Jo's Butter Spread - which is amazingly good (yes I was sceptical we don't eat spread normally)

And I'm almost finished my first batch of yoghurt. SO exciting. Nearly 2 weeks in and I am absolutely loving cooking with my TMX. Soon I will wonder what I did without it.

JD - This will complete the reviews for the book but the app has other recipes eg Malabar Fish Curry and will continue to have recipes added so that will complicate things a bit. Good value for us who bought the app though.

Today I made chilli con carne from Cyndi O'Meara's Healthy Eating Book
