Dede,  I think this is great.  Give him a cuddle from me.

Today made Fig Syrup ,  from In the Mix. See review.  It didn't work but made a lovely Fig Chutney.

Made Amy's rocky road brownies (yum), cookies and a jelly cheese cake slice. Just taking sausage rolls out of oven now. House smells divine.

Dede,  I have posted the recipe and although it looks long it is VERY easy.  I think your kids could make these.  Might have to adjust the spice as I am not sure if they would like cardamon.

Chookie, these look very good. I love cardamon.
Hubby is very fond of fruit buns. Am heading over to look up the recipe.
I don't have to work tomorrow so if I have all the ingredients will make tonight.

That ok cookie. Think I would make them exactly as you did to start with then adjust spices if need be after that. I already have the cardamom and apricots so should be right to go.

Pity about the fig syrup Chookie but the fruit buns look delicious. I'll make them when we get back from Singapore as I don't won't to put on a gram before I go, my jeans only just do up now. :'( :'(

Having guests this afternoon so made the family sized Buttery Vanilla Cake this morning.  Everyone thought it was lovely.

Too hot to do too much today - chicken drumsticks and home made potato wedges cooked out in the weber for lunch and leftover drumsticks and salad for tea.
