I'm not cooking anymore now until after Christmas. It's hot so I've just made a beetroot salad, potato & egg salad and coleslaw to tide us over until Christmas with my piece of ham on the bone and some cold chicken.

Don't blame you Judy.  I was supposed to make spinach pasta today to use in a meal, but I've got a hankering for the chicken salad with vietnamese dressing again so I think I'll make that instead.  Perfect for our hot day too.

The silicone springform 'tin' arrived this morning so I've made the Nigella chocolate & peanut butter cheesecake today and it's now cooling to room temp before I cover it and put it in the fridge until tomorrow.  I won't know how successful it's been until then, but it didn't leak and it's very sturdy.  Was good not having to grease or line it too.  Fingers crossed it works.  :D

Like Judy, I am not cooking now until Xmas Day.  I feel exhausted just reading about all the Fab. food you wonderful ladies have been cooking. I even bought a loaf of bread today, I had forgotten how bad it is.  Think the chooks will get this.

I had a laugh about the bread Chookie.

Today I've made mayonnaise, boiled eggs, cooked potatoes (for salad), custard for trifle, strawberry coulis to pour over the pavlova and put some in the icecream that is churning now. I can't be bothered cooking dinner so we're taking some of our ham and having ham steaks and vegies. Tomorrow it's make salads and sweets and cook meats.

Maddy, your little snow guys look just beautiful.  Wine has a way of becoming a lot more important than other chores ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers, Nola.

LOL.....yes, but my head tells me a different story this morning!  :-\  I stupidly do it each year......never learn.....and always feel like poop Christmas eve  :P

The snowmen heads are cupcake picks, one of many bags of kitsch toppers I bought from U.S......luckily I warned the kids just  in time before they crunched through his plastic head  :P

Today's cooking is mainly things like mayonnaise, cranberry and macadamia stuffing (did the prep in TMX), and bitds and pieces like that. It's been lovely having DD home as she is doing half of the salads and sweets for tomorrow. I have the turkey breast and rolled pork in the Easy Cook in the laundry roasting. I may even fit in a loaf of Dan Lepard's Sour Cream loaf.
