Those sausage rolls look lovely McMich.
I picked up a copy of the Rainbow Recipes book today but haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

Looks like it just adds the whole web address. Just go to advanced options and add link. Delete the http in the line before copy and pasting from the web address you want to link. Does that make any sense?

I made Vegemite spaghetti for tea tonight and enjoyed it while watching "The Big Bang" and sipping a caprioska.

Just on my 2nd rise of chookies no fuss bread.
Had this morning free due to our get together being postponed.
Been in the veggie & herb garden. Weeding, clearing & planting, took just over an hour, it is hot, nearly jumped in the pool but hosed myself down instead. Bonus find, thought all zuchinis were now dead, found2 & 2 cucumbers, then I spotted a bunch if green chillis, yay, very small but next to a red chilli plant that are small.
Eggplants!?!?! 2 years on, we had 7. Tried to pick when purple but woudnt come off easily, now they are all brown & yukky, when is a good time & how do you know?

Further to Hally's query re eggplants to the green thumbs out there, can anyone tell me why my little cherry tomato plants have yellow leaves at the bottom with brown spots... all advice would be greatly appreciated by this very brown thumb!

Hi Courton - that could be rust mite. I think it needs spraying with something (no idea what - garden shop will know). A friend told me that he pulls all the foliage off the lower part of his tomato plants to avoid some of this.

Homemade yoghurt with cranberry and almond granuesli from for foods sake with just a drizzle of maple syrup! Yummo.

I was due to make a new batch of Salted Caramel Maple Icecream when I spotted bottles of Maple Syrup Aldi with Blueberry Juice.
95%pure Maple and 5% Blueberry..
So I made a batch of Salted Caramel Maple Blueberry Icecream and it is delishhh. I reduced the sugar to 200g and used rapadura.
It has a lovely light toffee colour.
I had some frozen blueberries so added them to the top after I had churned it and pushed them down into the mix.

Not cooking at the moment as I've just retuned home from Tenina's Chocolate class. It was amazing. I can't wait to try a couple or more of the things she made. The caramelised white chocolate is so amazing I can't find words to describe it. The bread she made is very nice too. I think that might be my first thing. We had a casserole, tortillas (cooked beautifully by jeninwa
), mousse, dip and more.
Thank you Tenina. If anyone else gets the opportunity to go please do, it is excellent and not only chocolate. I believe she has another class very soon here in WA.

Grow eggplant at the moment but I don't think they will do any good here. I had to plant them late due to frost and they are only starting to flower now, so not sure if I have enough growing season left to get fruit. It's a bit of an experiment.
Cherry tomatoes. I would just cut off the infected leaves and put in the bin, not the compost (if it is a fungus problem it will spread unless you have a very hot compost) I always remove infected leaves before resorting to sprays. It could be spotted wilt which is a virus. If it is Tomato russet mite, you should be able to see them under a magnifying glass.
Make sure you take a sample of the infected leaves to the shop for identification to get the correct treatment
