We were given a very large snapper on the weekend. I just managed to bake it in the oven - it only just fitted! I t was delicious, but we had a lot of fish left over.
I made a banana maple upside down cake for dessert. There was none of that left over ;D

Last night I made fish patties with some of the leftover fish, and rolled them in broken up jazz biscuits..They were delicious too.

Tonight I used the last of the fish in a snapper mornay. Everyone except my youngest thought that it was tasty. He ate it whilst he thought it was tuna mornay, but when I told him it was snapper mornay, he suddenly didn't like it....... He thinks  I'm really mean because I wouldn't let him have dessert as he didn't eat all his dinner. :(

Cream of Chicken Soup. The old fashioned way, on top of the stove in a cast iron dutch oven. Bring on more of this cool weather I can feel a good Chilli con Carne coming on.

Have just made  a double batch of FFS baguettes. I don't know what a true baguette tastes like but this was rather tasty. DH and I cleaned one up for lunch. :P
