I made these http://laureneasmith.blogspot.co.uk/2008/05/millies-cookie-recipe.html

But made double quantity with only 200 g chips.

Made in Thermy, and seemed good.
Cut down each sugar by 25g (50total)
Still seemed sweet to me.

Took longer than 7 mins in baking oven Aga. At 7 mins still raw.

Supper was tuna pasta sweet corn and sauce as I was meant to be singing tonight, but car wonky so ended  up gardening instead.
DS had his as a bake to go in oven. Made sauce in  *:

And JD lemon surprise cake cold for pudding. Excellent again. Almost better or perhaps lemon flavour developed since y'day.

Formthe pasta made low fat sauce Carrs sauce flour and milk, no butter. CC says this flour is similar to wheat cornflour. It is fine anyway and a bit less fat.

No way can do the housekeeping challenge just now. 25'yr DS eats like horse ( eg cooks bacon at 1 in the morning!!!) and he's here from uni, DD arrives tmro. So that is 4 adults either eating here all the time or DD taking large packed lunches to her summer job from Monday. She will work 12 hrs day so takes loads food.

I didn't realise how  much easier it is when just us 2. It is weird as the young are great but having been away for several years they don't quite fit back into home ..... DD gave me lovely present today ( a tiny china diamond jubilee snuff box) thanking me for helping her through her education. Graduation will be huge celebration on 10 July. Still awaiting results.

I should be making stuff for DD's party which I didn't get around to yesterday. But the other DD & I are both sick so we're couch surfing! Might get around to making pizza bases & hedgehog slice, that will be all. Out for dinner tonight for (healthy) DD's birthday.
