I love parsnip puree too - mine has cannelini beans in it, and lemon juice and parley - it's yummy!  Been meaning to post the recipe.  :)

Today I am at my DD's place babysitting and have everything on hand - TMX and computer. GD (4.5) and I have made pink hummus, sundried tomato & cashew dip, chocolate chip and chickpeas cookies (yum) vegetable fritters, chicken hors'd'ouvres and LTM's - very fruitful day.

I have to add, her TMX & computer - just like being at home really!

i have had a crazy week with no time for cooking other than the essentials! (and have hardly been on the board even!) today though i had people over so made some of the ham & cheese muffins from the kids book and also my banana, yoghurt and blueberry cake (with buttermilk instead of yoghurt, was even yummier!).

That's a good idea.  I love that recipe so will have to try it with buttermilk next time we have people over.  :)

I've only done it twice baf65 but I love it too ;) ;) ;)  Too busy trying new recipes to re-visit those I've already done, even if they are favourites.

Last night I made up a Afgani Lamb and Spinach curry (finally getting to that lamb in the freezer). Once I've written it up I'll pop it on the forum. A batch of ghee. Tenina's Turkish Bread (very nice!!). I've become very disheartened spending between $8-15 for one at the shops/cafe's near work and their fillings are disappearing into nothing, so looking forward to enjoying these!!
A batch of Raison bread hoping that will entice unwell DD to eat something. Oh and a batch of basil pesto dip for the Turkish bread of course  ;) ;D

Hope you're feeling better soon Faffa.

Sounds like a nice cookoff yesterday ILB. I would love a freezer full of lamb to work with.  One of my oldest favourites is grilled devilled lamb chops. Hope DD is soon feeling better. You too Faffa, you have too much to do to be sick :-* :-* :-*

Have eaten out for the last week - three vet meetings/seminars and a Slowfood dinner last night - so Bimby has been quite neglected.

Sounds like a big bake-off yesterday ILB - RDO?  Have to get back to making breads - but we haven't been eating much (at home).

Usually have Fridays to do TMX work Thermomixer, but instead was home with sick DD and she was only interested in resting on the couch.
