That would be lovely on the retreat Gert. Do you rub the chook with anything?

I'm sure there would be someone that would be able to drink about 1/2 a can of beer.

Thanx Amy, you are so kind!  :-*  Funny tho as I just said to DH "I feel so spoilt, going out for lunch and tea" His reply... "Well you certainly deserve it!"  As much as I love cooking, it sure is nice to have a day off!  :D

Mrs Thermo my apologies to you. I must have  been having a "moment"  my toaster had only one long slot not two. What was I thinking?

So sorry. Only can do two ordinary slices and  I did think twice about that but it works for us. When  I have visitors I have to get out the old one as well. Maybe I need two in that case.

Sorry I miss led you.

No problems Gert! I've just sent an email to the company to see if they're planning on bringing out a 4 slice version in the near future :)

Umm I wonder if it would work as both sides pop  down for cleaning. Might work. You can !so toast just one side if you wish. It is quite unique. andisenji has one as well.

This pot roast. Photo this morning before it went in slow oven for 6 hours.

It was delicious tonight with Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower, and  more mashed carrots.

And another chocolate delight see cakes thread

Made some no fuss rolls on Saturday afternoon then filled them with salad to take with us while wood cutting, they were so nice when it was raining and we all had to pile into the land cruiser to escape the rain :D
We managed to eventually fill the trailer after having to stop a few times because of the weather. :)
