Very rushed, decided to do it before an appointment?!?!?!
Lemon meringue pie, used a couple of recipes, unis sour cream pastry & Teninas pie. Did one batch of lemon, not enough so had to double the recipe, not much fun when you have to be out of the house in less than an hour, but I did it.

New recipe on alyce Alexander's website, forgotten what it's called...something like ginger and sultana cookies. A nicely spiced soft cookie, which goes down very nicely. Thanked my DH for leaving me enough to take a pic after I answered a knock at the door. He said I could take a pic of his stomach instead.

Dipping swirl for cherry bites. Will use it one day soon :-)

Its delicious, was my lunch :D

Thanks Yvette you encouraged me to make it.

My only dissapointment  besides doing it rushed, was trying to get it out so I coukd see the pastry crust. It started to cracked so chickened out.

The pastry is great Uni.

Well done Hally.
CP I love how Alyce sends a new recipe each month. I print them off and put them into her book.

I've got some sourdough bread on the rise and then I must make another fruit loaf as we've finished the last one. I'm going to try a Hairy Biker's one this time.

Great work with the pie Hally :D :D

CP, those bikkies look awesome. Will you be posting a converted recipe? :)

Amy, what was your method of dipping cherry bites in choc - good to know before I make it tomorrow

Hi courton, I used a small dessert fork to dip them and also had a spoon in my other hand to scoop chocolate over the top to make sure they were completely covered. I shook of the excess chocolate and then used the edge of the spoon to gently ease the cherry bite back onto the tray. This left a little dent in the top, but I just patched it up with more chocolate ;)
I don't have any special dipping tools, so I just used what I had :)

Thanks Amy and CP. Will use Amy's method tomorrow but buy the tool if the fathers day present is a hit. I have dried cherries soaking in rum at the moment. I could just eat these straight!
