Will add the dip just before we leave. Have put a crust layer at the base so the dip so hopefully wont leak out.

Completed first stage of Tenina's Salted Caramel Ice Cream torte. Its in the freezer for the first 4 hours.
Hally your cake and spider look wonderful and Johnro that fudge looks yum.

Snappy, I used a recipe which had not been previously tested by moi - similar to the cookies and cream fudge with the addition of 1/4 cup golden syrup and brown sugar used instead of white if that made any sense to you!!
BTW Hally forgot to add in the last post you spider looks fabulous - well done!

Definitely Snappy - the only difference and it is something that I have never needed to do with fudge previously but the recipe stated that it needed to be kept in the fridge and this appears to be the case to get the finished product to almost a columbine. the original recipe is

. I used the method form my
cookies and cream fudge conversion
- next time for Salted Caramel Fudge I am going to reduce the glucose to 1 tabsp to reduce the gooey texture therefore hardening the finished product
