Made 7 small quiches, potato salad, loaf of bread, meat loaf and peaches and cream dessert.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Uni, I melted down my Apple & Raspberry Paste as well.  For me it was not to change it's stickiness (I could live with that) but I decided I wanted to present it differently for christmas hampers.  It is now in little plastic containers.  I haven't tried any of the re-packaged paste yet but do have one set aside for me to try at some point.  For quality control purposes of course!
i added 1/2cup of water, just tried some on fresh soft bread and it was yum  ;D will try agian 2morrow to see if it get hard in the fridge, for quality control purposes of course :P
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

I've made the Swedish Ice-Cream cake, turkish delight & pistachio ice-cream and a batch of biscuits from the book & cutters Chrissie gave me recently. I did make some for GS using the dinosaur cutters I have as well.

The photo below shows 2 different looks, the darker ones were the way I preferred and the lighter ones are by following the recipe.  The biscuit is cooked for a short time then it is brushed with warmed apricot jam & a coconut meringue mixture is spread over that.  The recipe says to tent the biscuits with alfoil for the second cooking but the 3rd batch I decided to leave it off and see how they looked.  That's the look I prefer but they both taste good.

Thanks girls, taste is more important than looks and that's what we have here.

Yes Amy, Chrissa did send the same book to us both, it's a great little book.  I have stickers everywhere in it!  These are the Christmas angels on page 83 but I didn't have an angel cutter like that. The one in the pack, when covered with the meringue, doesn't look like an angel anymore. I think my coconut meringue mixture must have been too thick as it was hard to spread and of course mine don't look anywhere near as good as the book but then I knew that when I started  :-))

I also added water to mine - didn't actually measure but it was probably also about 1/2 cup.  Here are mine in their new packages (not the best photo though).

Suzanne, it's a Woman's Weekly book simply called Cookies.  There's a picture of it in the Chat about SS Presents on page 23.
