It doesn't sound as if you have lost your touch Kim.  I hope Dad notices that you are a bit happier these days now that he is allowing you into his kitchen.

I think so jd and he is happier as he tends to stress cooking for all of us all the time which then creates tension.. He is also getting more interested in thx recipes which is good too.  Think ive sold our guests today into buying a thx as well lol or at the least very interested in one.  She seemed keen!

Think dad realises its much easier all round when i cook and so far he has been impressed.. I had never really cooked for him before except some nibbles for their roof on party years ago so dont know what he thought i could or couldnt do..whatever it was its not the same now.. Dh said told you so haha.. Just needed to let me cook and its all good..

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and dod liked it all again.. The brownie points are on the rise lol!  He loved the salmon cones..finished them off tonight!

That meal sounds wonderful Kim.
Glad you and your dad have worked things out in the kitchen. It will make living there easier on everyone.
Hopefully in the new year you will find a home of your own and get back to normal.  :)

Frozzie Maybe your Dad is just relaxing now . . perhaps in the beginning he felt he should provide for you as he would guests . . .I think he may be feeling more relieved to "let you at it" in the kitchen :D
